Engine 52-1 started of the dey at the A. Duie Pyle trucking company for a stand-by at their truck rodeo. While their the Engine took in one Automatic Fire Alarm. Then around 1600 hours all of station 52's apparatus was taken to station 51 for the housing of the squad, brush, and engine 51-1. Around midday on the 23rd Engine 52-2, with a crew of 3 traveled to G.A. Stetson Middle School to teach an 8th grade tech ed engineering class how the truck was built. Just as everyone arrived at the Good Will for the annual Christmas Party there was some major excitment in the air. Their was word that Santa was coming on a fire truck! Finally, Engine 52-2 appeared and on it, no other than Mr.Claus himself. Not only did Santa greet everyone he also gave out some presents. Through out the day of October 5th the WCFD and WCPD along with Goshen Fire Company Fire Extinguishing unit held a public saftey event. This included a live house fire drill presented by stations 51, 52, and 53, a car fire by station 52, and an accident with entrapment presented by fame. This event also allowed children to shoot a fire hose from Brush 51 and go into the smoke room.
